The yellow bus at First Methodist Church of Dunnellon is collecting Hurricane Ian relief supplies.

First Methodist Church of Dunnellon (formerly First United Methodist Church) is a drop-off site for Hurricane Ian relief supplies.

A yellow bus is parked in front of the church for collecting supplies. The Church is located at 21501 CR 40, Dunnellon.

Needed food supplies include: peanut butter, canned food items, #10 can bulk, small canned items, energy Bars and snack bars, cases of bottled water, dry goods items, pasta, rice, soups, condiments and spaghetti sauces.

Needed paper products include: to-go containers, plastic silverware, napkins and paper towels.

Personal hygiene items such as soap, shampoo and baby wipes are needed.

Cleaning and outdoor supplies are needed, including: Home Depot 5-gallon buckets with cleaning supplies, Dawn dishwashing soap. sponges, cleaning towels, Clorox Wipes, latex gloves, 30-gallon-plus trash bags, insect repellant, face masks, laundry detergent, tools for debris removal, rakes, flat-head shovels, brooms and dust pan, work gloves, fans, all sizes of tarps, clippers for limbs, hand saws, pole saws, D, C and AA batteries, and flashlights/lanterns.

Additionally, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners, Marion County Fire Rescue, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are hosting numerous drop-off sites for donations throughout the county, including in Dunnellon. The donations will be collected through Oct. 22, then representatives from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office will deliver them directly to the areas most impacted by the storm.

All Marion County Public Library System locations, including the Dunnellon Public Library

All Marion County Fire Rescue locations

Marion County Animal Services, 5701 SE 66th St., Ocala

Marion County Growth Services, 2710 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala

Marion County Parks & Recreation Main Office, 111 SE 25th Ave., Ocala

Brick City Adventure Park, Activity Center, 1211 SE 22nd Road, Ocala

Forest Community Center, 777 S. Highway 314A, Ocklawaha

Marion County Sheriff’s Office Main Office, 692 NW 30th Ave., Ocala

Marion County Sheriff’s Office North Multi-district Office, 8311 N. Highway 441, Ocala

Marion County Sheriff’s Office South Multi-district Office, 3260 SE 80th St., Ocala

Marion County Solid Waste, 5601 SE 66th St., Ocala

Marion County Utilities, 1800 SE U.S. Highway 441, Belleview

Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, 2232 NE Jacksonville Road, Ocala
